Become a Volunteer

Become a part of Chamberfest 2010 as a Festival Volunteer.

The Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival is one of the largest chamber music festivals in the world, and has been providing audiences with a wide variety of concerts featuring the finest musicians from across Canada and around the world for the past 16 years. Last year’s festival featured world-renowned artists including James Ehnes, Donna Brown, the St. Lawrence and Leipzig string quartets, as well as Time for Three (Tf3), Autorickshaw, and Roby Lakatos. The 2010 edition of Chamberfest is sure to be as exciting. In addition to daytime and evening concerts, attend the Late Night concerts – share a drink with friends and festival performers over late night music in a casual environment – at the festival’s newest venue, Saint Brigid’s Centre for the Arts and Humanities.

Contribute

Contribute your time and talent as a volunteer in the nation’s capital in the summer of 2010 or during the year in our Concert Series. Join the Stage crew, work the Green Room, meet musicians from around the world in rehearsal, and learn what goes on backstage before, during and after a performance. Work in the concert house as an usher or as a ticket or merchandise seller and build friendships with other volunteers. The range of opportunities with the stage crew or the front of house team will appeal to every interest and experience level.

The Ottawa Chamber Music Society staff, artists and audience members are looking forward to meeting you at this year’s festival.
