Each day during the first week of the Festival, you are invited to join host Eric Friesen for 30 minutes of music and conversation featuring short performances by Festival artists. These will be heard live across Canada on CBC Radio 2. Please check the website or programme book for details.

Mary and David’s 50th Anniversary Concert

  • Gryphon Trio
Festival favourite, the Gryphon Trio, presents works by Mozart and Ravel. They will also perform the world premiere of a new composition commissioned by the OCMS and the Gryphon Trio in honour of Mary and David Bullock on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. This concert is dedicated to Mary and David Bullock and all of the OCMS volunteers.
Red Chamber Celebrates China

Taking its inspiration from the traditional Chinese ‘plucked string’ repertoire that is seldom, if ever, heard in the West, Red Chamber creates a unique sound while performing a repertoire that spans centuries, including transcriptions from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and modern compositions.
Panache: Music for Voice and Harp
