Patricia O’Callaghan
Yingjia Xue piano
Yingjia Xue, a graduate of the Shanghai Conservatory, obtained his master’s degree in 2005 from the Brussels Royal Conservatory where he studied with Daniel Blumenthal. He has attended master classes with, among others, Anatol Ugorski, Dang Thai Song, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling and Zoltan Kocsis. A winner at the 2001 National Piano Competition of China, 2003 and 2005 André Dumortier International Competitions, he took fi rst prizes at the 2004 Scriabin Competition in Paris and 2005 Yamaha Scholarship Competition in Belgium. He has given many recitals in China and accompanied the violinist winner of the Paganini Competition. Since his arrival in Europe, he has performed in recital and chamber music concerts in Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, and Canada. He has participated in prestigious festivals, including the Crans-Montana Festival (Switzerland), Moritzburg Festival (Germany), and Festival des Arcs (France). He currently studies with Louis Lortie, Michel Dalberto and Boris Petrushansky at Italy’s renowned piano institute in Imola.
Yingjia Xue piano
Diplômé du Conservatoire de Musique de Shanghai en 2002, il obtint sa maîtrise du Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles (classe de Daniel Blumenthal), en 2005. Il participa notamment aux cours de maîtres d’Anatol Ugorski, Dang Thai Son, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling et Zoltan Kocsis. Il remporta des prix au Concours national de piano de Chine (2001), au Concours international André Dumortier (2003, 2005), au Concours Scriabine (premiers prix, Paris, 2004) et au Concours Bourses Yamaha (Belgique, 2005). Il donna de nombreux récitals en Chine et accompagna en concert le grand lauréat du Concours Paganini. Depuis son arrivée en Europe, il s’est produit en récital et comme chambriste en Belgique, en France, en Italie, en Suisse, en Allemagne, aux Pays-Bas et au Canada. Il participa à des festivals de prestige, comme celui de Crans-Montana (Suisse), de Moritzburg (Allemagne), et au Festival des Arcs (France). Il étudie actuellement à la prestigieuse École de piano d’Imola (Italie) avec Louis Lortie, Michel Dalberto et Boris Petrushansky.
