Robert Stephen

Robert Stephen joined the National Ballet of Canada in 2004 and has been a first soloist with the company since 2011. His repertoire includes the title roles in Pinocchio and Hamlet as well as the roles of the Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. An emerging choreographer, Stephen has received several awards including the Clifford E. Lee Choreography Award at the Banff Centre and the Audience Choice Award for Best New Choreography at the Ninth International Competition for the Erik Bruhn Prize.
