Sunrise Concert: Johnny Gandelsman plays the Bach Cello Suites

Enjoy the marvelous artistry of Johnny Gandelsman as he takes on Bach’s Suites for solo cello – on the violin!  His highly personal renditions of Bach’s work are as unique as they are magnificent.  Start your day with Beechwood’s gorgeous scenery and a tranquil escape from the daily grind of the city.

This performance is outdoors. You will need to bring your own seating and weather protection if desired.
The rain location for this performance will be Tabaret Hall at the University of Ottawa. This page will be updated with the correct location, and passholders will receive an email the night before the event should the rain location be used.

Bring the Kids
Chamberfest’s visiting artists give fun, family-friendly, and interactive performances that teach young people about music-making in small ensembles. Kids can experience and explore the storied world of chamber music at our summer music festival. Free admission. These performances usually take place at Ottawa City Hall and are intended for kids (and guardians!) of all ages.
The Record Centre Series

Eclectic programming resonates against a backdrop of vinyl, vintage speakers, and reel-to-reel at legendary music destination and beloved Wellington staple, The Record Centre. Here, artists are at play: exploring and expanding their creativity in this casual space.
