Be the first to hear generation next! NEW MUSIC NOW 2024 opens with two string quartets composed by the first and second place laureates of the uOttawa/Chamberfest Composition Competition. You’ll hear Angela Geleynse’s driving Autonomous, followed by Cameron Hunter’s spacious Breathless.

The celebration of emerging artists continues when HATCH, a summer-intensive mentorship program for early-career composers, conductors, and performers offered by Continuum Contemporary Music, takes the stage. Their programme features new compositions written and performed by the young artists selected for this program. The compositional process has just begun – so stay tuned for more information once the ink has dried!
