Change lives through music on GivingTuesday

GivingTuesday is just one week away – and we’re already looking forward to celebrating the power of music and community with you!

Each year, GivingTuesday invites communities around the world to come together and support the causes that inspire them. At Chamberfest, this day is an opportunity to reflect on the impact of our Community Engagement & Education programming – and to invite you to help keep this important work thriving in communities across Ottawa.

Music that reaches across our community

With the support of people like you, Chamberfest delivered over 70 community-focused music events this past year. These programs nurtured the love of music across Ottawa through a rich variety of free and accessible experiences – on stage, online, and in unexpected spaces throughout the city.

Our year-round community programming includes:

Performances and sensory-friendly events for neurodiverse individuals, seniors, and children
A multi-month school program that brings musicians into classrooms
Free pop-up concerts and Chamber Pints events across the region
Masterclasses and opportunities for young and emerging musicians
Online and in-person artist talks that bring audiences closer to the music

These events bring joy, comfort, and connection to people of all ages – especially those who may not otherwise have access to live music. We hear time and again how deeply these programs matter:

“We attended a Chamberfest adaptive concert and it was absolutely fantastic. The musicians were wonderful and engaging…the atmosphere was beautiful and kind… Really a wonderful, inclusive event!”

Your support matters

This GivingTuesday, your gift will help ensure that Chamberfest can continue offering meaningful musical experiences to everyone in our community – especially those who need it most. When you give, you help keep music accessible, enriching, and transformative. Your support at any level matters, and even a $20 gift helps sustain our community programming year-round.
