Tafelmusik: La Stravagante

A quintet of musicians from the renowned Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra take centre stage at Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre to share a program that celebrates the stylus fantasticus, an experimental and audacious method of composing all the rage in 17th-century Italy.  Join them on a journey through fascinating and extravagant pieces that display genius and unbridled virtuosity.

Hosted by broadcaster Eric Friesen, Chamber Chats: Festival Edition features interactive interviews with festival musicians both online and in person.In-person attendance for Chamber Chats is available for passholders only! You will be asked to show your pass before entering this event.

The online Zoom events are free and open to the public.

Bring the Kids
Chamberfest’s visiting artists give fun, family-friendly, and interactive performances that teach young people about music-making in small ensembles. Kids can experience and explore the storied world of chamber music at our summer music festival. Free admission. These performances usually take place at Ottawa City Hall and are intended for kids (and guardians!) of all ages.
The Record Centre Series

Eclectic programming resonates against a backdrop of vinyl, vintage speakers, and reel-to-reel at legendary music destination and beloved Wellington staple, The Record Centre. Here, artists are at play: exploring and expanding their creativity in this casual space.

Seating will not be available.
