Sunrise Concert: Solo Cello and Gentle Yoga for your Soul with Julia MacLaine & Anna Petersen

Greet the day and treat yourself to a gentle yoga practice while soaking up the sounds of NACO Assistant Principal Cello Julia MacLaine. In this Sunrise Concert of the summer, you’ll hear MacLaines’s gorgeous rendition of Bach’s works for solo cello, which she recently recorded for Analekta.

Bring a yoga mat –or chair– and enjoy a morning of music-filled mindfulness on the gorgeous grounds of Beechwood Cemetery. Led by Anna Petersen of Passionflower Yoga, this practice is inclusive and accessible for every body. (When not on her yoga mat, you can find Anna on stage as a professional oboist with the NAC Orchestra.)

The rain location for this performance will be Tabaret Hall at the University of Ottawa. This page will be updated with the correct location, and passholders will receive an email the night before the event should the rain location be used.
