City Series: uOttawa Vocal Students and Alumni

Recent graduates and students of the uOttawa School of Music voice department are on showcase with this noon hour recital. Weaving together stories of underrepresented voices in the traditional canon, this performance is also part of Chamberfest’s ChamberPride series. Don’t miss the world premiere of p. lukic’s Sappho at the coffeeshop, a piece about young love and relationships with lush harmony and captivating storytelling.

Chamberfest’s City Series has been bringing live music to Ottawa’s City Hall (and beyond) for a decade. This year’s Spring lineup features emerging artists and local favourites from the Ottawa Children’s Choir (ahead of their Western Canada tour) to flute virtuoso Gertrude Letourneau to our Steinway young artists to the world premiere of a new work by p. lukic. Join us for these noon hour recitals on Tuesdays for FREE!
