Heather Schnarr

Heather Schnarr is a violinist from Tara, Ontario, now living in Gatineau, Quebec. Her freelance career spans over 20 years, including collaborations with artists such as Oscar Peterson, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, Alicia Cara and Jeff Beck, Orchestre Métropolitain, McGill Chamber Orchestra, and the National Arts Centre Orchestra. An active studio musician, she can be heard on albums, television, radio, and movies. Schnarr is program coordinator at the Préville Fine Arts Centre, creating innovative arts programming, and she teaches violin privately at École Secondaire Publique De La Salle in Ottawa.
